Child Advocacy Volunteer Opportunities
Every child in foster care deserves a voice. CASA volunteers are trained community advocates who get to know a child, gather information from family members, caseworkers, teachers, service providers, and others involved in the child’s life, and make sure the child’s needs are heard.
As a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), you provide the Juvenile Court with an independent perspective and recommendations based on what is in the child’s best interest.

Looking to volunteer to advocate for children in Northwest Georgia? You don’t need a special degree or background. You just need a heart for kids and a little time to give.
Court Appointed Special Advocate volunteers come from all walks of life. If you’re 21+ and can give 10–15 hours a month, you can advocate for a child who needs someone in their corner.
Work full-time? Have a busy schedule? No problem. You set your own schedule, and our training is designed to work with everything you have going on. The kids in care can’t wait; it’s been too long already.
