Working to improve the lives of children in foster care in the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit. To speak for and amplify each child’s voice who has suffered from abuse and neglect. To give each child hope for the future.

Our Mission
The mission of Lookout Mountain CASA, Inc. is to recruit, screen, train, and support committed community volunteers who advocate for children in foster care throughout Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, and Walker Counties. CASA volunteers speak up for local children who have experienced abuse or neglect, ensuring their voices are heard in Juvenile Court and their needs are clearly understood.
Our ultimate goal is permanency — helping each child find a safe, stable, and lasting home where they can heal, grow, and reach their full potential. Because these children come from our very own communities, we believe they deserve nothing less than a future rooted in security, connection, and hope.

Our Vision
All children who experience abuse or neglect deserve the chance to thrive, grow, and reach their full potential — especially the children who come from our very own communities here in the Lookout Mountain District. When a child from Catoosa, Chattooga, Dade, or Walker County enters foster care, they’re not just another case in the system. They’re one of ours.
CASA advocacy helps ensure these children stay connected to family, community, and the permanent relationships that give them stability and hope. In small towns like ours, those connections matter. They’re what help a child heal, feel seen, and build a future that isn’t defined by what they’ve survived, but by the support they receive and the people who stand with them.
